With quick access to I-60, you can easily reach Phoenix’s attractions, including the Game Show Battle Rooms and the Musical Instrument Museum in Tempe—too many to list (see below)!
You’ll be staying at the Monte Vista RV Resort, a secure 24/7 gated community. Please note:

Welcome to Karamia Haven—a comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home (984 sq. ft.) accommodating up to 4 guests. This is a no-shoe zone—please bring house shoes, flip flops or slippers.

Kitchen: Fully furnished for cooking with cast iron pan, hand mixer, blender, and Crockpot (note: no Air Fryer or Instant Pot). A complimentary coffee & tea station with unlimited refills is provided.

Living Room: Relax with ample seating for conversation, your favorite soaps or game shows, or a movie night with popcorn.

Primary Suite: Sleep like royalty in a serene bedroom with a walk-in closet, private bath featuring a solo sink, wet closet, and walk-in shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There is no TV.

Guest Bedroom: Includes a desk, computer for email or journaling, and USB charger. Perfect for extra guests, visiting family, or simply a quiet night’s sleep if your partner snores!
What's in it?
Our main bath is the perfect place to unwind and pretend you’re in a spa! We provide shampoo and conditioner, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite bubble bath or bath bombs for an extra touch of luxury.
The carport accommodates one vehicle. Any additional vehicles must be parked in designated areas. Please note that street parking is not allowed after dark. The other half of the carport opens into a cozy patio with a table and four chairs, plus a cart for the on-site BBQ grill.
Within the resort, you’ll find entertainment galore: a full game room, ballroom, pool hall, pickleball courts, tennis courts, a softball field, and a well-equipped gym. Community bulletin boards throughout the resort highlight daily activities, weekly events, and monthly gatherings you won’t want to miss.
One of the best parts of staying here is the friendly community. Whether you’re strolling, riding 3-wheel bikes, or simply waving hello, you’ll feel right at home. You also have your choice of five different swimming pools or can relax and soak your cares away in the hot tub. Pool towels are provided.

Guests: Only registered guests are permitted. No outside visitors or “showroom” visits are allowed.

We now welcome small dogs (20 lbs or less) with a non-refundable pet deposit. A pet ID is required when completing the form.

Shoes: Kindly remove your shoes when entering the house. We recommend bringing house shoes, flip flops or slippers for comfort.

We both are Colorado natives and have enjoyed the Rocky Mountains with our families for more than 45 years. We raised our 3 children camping, hiking, fishing and enjoying the surrounding mountains as a family since they were babies.
We’ve traveled to Arizona occasionally where Chuck’s parents were snowbirds in Mesa, Arizona for 20+ years. We love how different the sceneries are to Colorado (hot and dry with saguaros). We fell in love with the Monte Vista resort and the villagers in the community were super friendly. The time has come that both his parents passed, we decided to “adopt” their house.
We hope that as you explore the area, you will find it as magical as we do. THIS IS OUR FAMILY VACATION HOME! We ask you that you treat our home and the areas you explore with respect they deserve. Tread lightly and leave no trace. We are thrilled to share our home with you and hope to welcome you back soon!
This cozy house was originally built in 2000 and was lovingly remodeled by us. It is just steps away from activities in the 80+ acres of resort (you can get around by walking, ride bikes, golf cart). It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dining and living room (open space!).
You can see the Superstition Mountains from our house! To take a drive, it’s 14 miles away. There is a lake nearby that you can go for a picnic if you like to hike and see many different saguaros, cactus, also, if you’re at the right time, you’ll see beautiful flowers.
Enjoy this relaxing getaway within walking distance of spectacular hikes, shops, museums, or just relax on our patio, reading a favorite book and watch unbelievable sunsets. This house has a private main-floor bedroom with a king size bed as well as a guest room.
